April 2012 -  Minister of Public Works - Ana Pastor - has confirm the Governments commitment to the High Speed (AVE) line to Galicia. 

January 2012 -  THE SPANISH- SAUDI CONSORTIUM SIGNS THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST HIGH SPEED RAILWAY IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA. 14th January 2012, Riad- Several  Spanish and Saudi Arabia Ministers where invited to the signing of the contract as well as the president of SRO (Dr Jabara Bin Eid Alsuraiseri) as well as the representatives Imathia Construccion, the remaining 11 Spanish Companies and the 2 two Suadi partners Alshoula and Al Rosan.

December 2011 - Ministry of Public Works -ADIF awarded the Construction of the roadbed for the High Speed line Madrid-Galicia, section Tunel De OCañiizo right Track 

October 2011 -  SPAIN BUILDS THE FIRST HIGH SPEED TRAIN IN SAUDI ARABIA -  SRO (Saudi Railways Organization) has announced the award of the contract for the construction and commissioning of a high speed train between Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, known as the Haramain High Speed Rail (HHR), to the Spanish consortium.  The consortium, known as Al Shoula Group, is made up of twelve Spanish companies and two local companies.

IMATHIA CONSTRUCCIÓN, together with COPASA and OHL, is responsible for the execution of the superstructure civil works and for the maintenance of the entire civil works over a period of 12 years, together with COPASA. More Info

May 2011 - Openning of the Solid Waste and Used-Vehicles Recycling Centers in Podgorica (Montenegro) with the assiatnce of Mr Jorge Andreu, Head of the Spanish Commercial Office in Setbia & Montenegro.

April 2011 - Works Commence for the Construction of roadbed for the high-speed line Antequera-Granada.. Section: Nudo de Bobadilla (Antequera). Phase II-
