Construcción de la superestructura de obra civil para la linea de alta velocidad entre Meca y Medina, Haramain High Speed Railway y el mantenimiento de toda la infraestructura durante 12 años.
El proyecto consiste en la ejecución de la línea de ferrocarril de alta velocidad entre las ciudades de La Meca y Medina con una longitud 450 km de vía doble para velocidades de 320 km/hora. El trayecto tendrá estaciones en La Meca, Jeddah, la Ciudad Económica del Rey Abdullah (KAEC), el aeropuerto internacional de King Abdulaziz en Jeddah y la ciudad de Medina.
Imathia Construcción como integrante del grupo de obra civil, es responsable de la ejecución de los trabajos de obra civil relacionados con la construccion de las bases de montaje, y el tendido de via. Un 75% se ejecutara sobre balasto mientras el 25% restante será via en placa. Se preveen mas de cuatro millones de toneladas de balasto, la fabricación de 1.500.000 de traviesas y la construcción de 4 bases de montaje.

Double track system with unballasted tracks
Length: 3,5 km
The Project includes the necessary actions to execute double track light railway type infrastructure and superstructure, mainly across the municipality of Granada.
Works include earthworks, utilities diversion (gas, low voltage, sewerage, water, etc.), platform preparation, slab track, station paving and utilities installation. Foundation for catenary parts and cable installation along the track
Several concrete structures and crossed Under main roads and other railway lines. Most significant structure under existing motorway using “cut and cover” methodology with cast-in-place concrete piles and using the pushing system for under railway crossings.
Other Works include urban infrastructures around the tracks and building of stations and catenary posts.

Double track system with ballasted tracks, Length: 450 m, Short and long distance railway traffic
Construction of 3 structures under double track railway line, one for road traffic and the other two for pedestrians. The main caisson was cast-in-place and pushed under the existing railway, the pedestrian caissons built using two prefabricated caissons and pushed and the tracks with slurry walls coming out under crossing.
Other works include access roads, urban infrastructures around the level crossing, lighting infrastructures and improvements in the local drainage.

The section Nudo de Bobadilla (Antequera), Phase II, has a length of 6.15 km and runs through the town of Antequera, in Málaga province. The proposed works involve the implementation of the platform of the High Speed Line Antequera-Granada. In this section there are junctions that allow the connection of Málaga and Granada at high speed. The project includes the necessary actions for the implementation of infrastructure works such as earthworks, drainage, structures, replacement of services and easements, and construction of cross connections to ensure patency of the line road. The new layout has been designed for high speed double track standard gauge and for exclusive passengers traffic. It´s worth mentioning, as unique elements, the 74m. pergola on the Córdoba-Málaga High Speed Line and the 258 m. Viaduct over the Arroyo de Las Lomas, box section post-tensioned panel executed in situ. The Bobadilla Node is the key point of connection between the future Andalusian cross passage at high speed, to which the High Speed Line Antequera-Granada belongs, and the High Speed Line Madrid-Córdoba-Málaga. It also represents an essential core at the joint of the rail network in Andalusia to the rest of the peninsula.
